The Centaur and the Mermaid

Chapter 1

A mermaid was walking in the open city.  Then a glass of water spilled on her skin.  There were so many people there and she turned into a mermaid and everyone saw her and called the news.  Then she struggled to the ocean, but on the way she saw a centaur. 

She noticed what was happening and said, "Hop on my back, I'll carry you to the ocean." 

Without a word, they ventured to the ocean with crowd of people behind them. 

The mermaid said, "Thank you.  Are you those kinds of centaurs that turn into a mermaid?"

"Yes," she replied. 

The mermaid said, "Come on, let's go for a swim."

The people jumped into the ocean and then a huge sea monster emerged.

Chapter 2

Everyone jumped out of the water and ran.  The mermaid and centaur held out their rings and then a flash of light sent them into their rings. 

And the rings drowned.  Then the other mermaids saw they were inside the rings and tried to use their rings to help them.  It was no use.  They were trapped in there forever.  Then, a glow of light flashed.  And then a mermaid ghost appeared.  She told the other mermaids...well, not exactly told. She gave them a note and disappeared. 

The note said, "They have three days and if you cannot get them out by then, they are trapped in that ring forever and they get to use the powers however they want."

The note disappeared and a single sword fell into their hands. 

Then one mermaid said, "Let's free them."

Chapter 3

The same monster ate the centaur's little sister. 

They cried with despair, and then the mermaid ghost came again and said, "You need help." 

And then she left a single mermaid to help. And then the mermaid told them they needed a human's arm, a centaur's blood, and last but not least, one strand of a mermaid's hair.  Then the mermaid went off telling them that they needed to mix them together and pour it on both rings and then they would come back.  So they used the sword to go up and try to cut a human's arm off.  When a human was scuba diving they used their rings to camouflage and then cut their arm off. 

They said,  "One down.  Lots more to go." 

And then they stirred and mixed that on with mermaid's hair and then they got the centaur's blood from the centaur's family.  And then they poured the potion on the two rings and the ghost came back saying something.  She muttered it over and over again. 

Then she said, "You need one more thing that I forgot.  You need all your love to put into that potion."

And they said, "What does that mean?"

So then they put all their love into it and one came back. 

Chapter 4

They realized that they were only rooting for the mermaid because they only knew her.  Then the centaur's family came back. They knew what happened because of their reading mind's power.

They said, "Step aside.  I can do this part."

They put all their love and joy into it, and then a single spirit came back. 

The centaur said, "I think I am dying."

They realized that they had been here for two days.  Time was running out.  They needed more.  They put all the little bits of the potion they could find and then stirred it all up into a stirring bowl and tried again.

Chapter 5

Then she came back and said, "Oh how did that happen?  I was sleeping in my bedroom."

The other mermaids said, "Don't worry about it.  We will explain it to you later."

The Ocean's Big Secret

A boy was about to jump into the ocean. When he saw a sudden movement he jumped.  He thought it was a mermaid.  He must have been crazy.

He said, "No, it couldn't be."

Then it spoke.  It said, "Eat this before you jump in, it will make you breathe."

He ate it and it was seaweed.  It tasted just as good as candy.  He dove.  His name was Carter and he was seven years old.  He was swimming since he was two and he wanted to be a really good swimmer.  Now his sister, on the other hand, was the exact same mirror image of him.  Her name was Ella, and she had the same dream and was everything like him.

Although the mermaid looked just like her, she said "I am your sister."

He gaped at her.  He said, "Ella, how are you a mermaid?"

She replied, "Cuz you are, silly."

He went in and saw that it was true.  They both dove in at the same time and saw all sorts of sea life.  They saw a talking jelly fish battling another jelly fish with their stingers.

His sister said, "Do you want to go for a ride on that turtle taxi?" There was a huge turtle where she was pointing.

He said, "Five clams for a taxi ride and a tour of the ocean is twenty."

Carter said, "What's that palace?"

Ella replied, "It's the palace of glazes.  They keep all the secrets of the ocean and all the treasures of the ocean inside. It's a total miracle, don't you think? One time on the news they even said they have the ocean's pearl."

"What's the oceans pearl?" Carter said.

"It's the biggest pearl in the ocean and rainbow colored too," Ella replied.

Then Carter asked the question: "How are we mermaids and how is their magic under the ocean when a lot of people have been under?"

Ella said, "Well here's the thing, there is this big uncover...well, I should start from the beginning.  A very long time ago, a scuba diver found out, told everyone, and everyone died keeping the secret to themselves.  And we built a safety lift and we had drills for any humans to come and no animals to talk.  And it's been that way ever since.  The reason why everything happens, all the magic I mean, is because if everyone here wanted this magic thing to happen."

Carter said, "Wow.  That's so cool.  I think I am going to live here forever."

Ella screamed and darted around.  Carter turned around.  It was a big and scary sea monster. At first he thought it was the Loch Ness Monster, then he realized it was a half mermaid, half centaur, half Loch Ness Monster.  It screamed, it roared, it shrieked.  They darted up to the surface when they saw two humans watching their tales and one tried to scoop them up.

They took a photo on their cameras and they took them away.  Then the sea monster, on the other hand, was roaring and Ella told Carter, "I am a protector of the ocean.  And that monster was the spirit of the humans and sea life that did not want all this to happen, mushed together into one big monster when their spirits couldn't rest.

And we protect the ocean from that thing and humans.  So if we are not here everyone could be in big danger. The humans overheard what the mermaids were saying.

They said, "Ok, you can protect your town as long as we can get one quick picture with you."

The brother and sister nodded and they turned around and threw them into the ocean.  Then Ella gave Carter a ring and told him it was the ring to shield the monster away for good for these two years and then in two more years it would come back and they'd have to fight again.  Ella told Carter that you could lift water into the air and make it into any shape you wanted.  You could also freeze water into ice. She also told him you could boil water.  Then they headed home.  She also told him that if you touched water you would turn into a mermaid.  And the queen made all the decisions and they were the princess and prince of the ocean.  They could turn into a centaur and fairy too.
